Each beret is made in south-west region of Béarn, the cradle of the beret invented by the shepherds. The highlighting and modernization of craftsmanship is passed from generation to generation. Each beret is made of fine quality 100% wool sourced the Pyrenees.
The quality of finished product is a reflection of local tradition and French craft. First the beret is knitted, then is carefully checked by experts’ hands and eyes. As soon as 150 berets are knitted, they are specially washed to be “returned." In preparation of its final step each beret is shaped one by one on a wooden form then sent to dry overnight.
